Daniel T. Clifford
Daniel T. Clifford, a Bakersfield native, was born August 14, 1974. He attended West Bakersfield High School and graduated in 1993. Mr. Clifford graduated from the University of Oregon in 1997 with a B.A. in History.
Mr. Clifford returned to Bakersfield upon graduation where he began working for the national irrigation and oilfield construction company Rain For Rent as a salesman and project manager.
Mr. Clifford began his legal studies at the University of the Pacific's McGeorge School of Law located in Sacramento, California in the Fall of 2000 and graduated in May of 2003. He has been admitted to the State Bar of California and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Clifford is a member of the Kern County Bar Association and the Southern California Association of Defense Counsel. His areas of practice are business litigation and civil defense.
Mr. Clifford holds positions on the Board of Directors for the Kern County Bar Association and New Advances For People With Disabilities (“NAPD”) and is a member of the Bakersfield West Rotary. Mr. Clifford has briefed two reported cases in the California Court of Appeal (Second and Fifth Districts): CAZA Drilling (California), Inc. v. TEG Oil & Gas, Inc., (2006) 142 Cal.App.4th 453, and Faughn v. Perez, (2006) 145 Cal.App.4th 592.
